Gay group criticises unholy alliance
A Scottish gay group has criticised an unholy alliance of critics towards the nine Glasgow fire-fighters who were reprimanded for snubbing a gay pride march last June, after the Archbishop of Glasgow and a BNP spokesperson defended the public servants. The Equality Network spoke out against Archbishop Mario Conti and Glasgow BNP organiser Walter Hamilton questioning their dignity in regards to the case. Nine members of the Strathclyde Fire and Rescue service were enrolled on a diversity training course last week after refusing to hand out standard fire safety leaflets at the Pride Scotia march in Glasgow last month, citing moral reasons. Walter Hamilton of the Glasgow BNP argued that this was politically correct bullying and that the fire-fighters had refused to take part in the event on moral grounds.
Minister demands gay pride exodus from Jerusalem
Israeli government ministers have thwarted new plans for a lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) 'Pride and Tolerance' march in Jerusalem. The Minister for Jerusalem Affairs, Yaakov Edri, told Jerusalem Open House (JOH) who were organising the march, to hold the gay pride parade outside of the capital city. No reason for the request has been issued as yet, Ynetnews reports. The news has come as a blow to JOH, who have been awaiting an outcome on permit approval from the police and Jerusalem municipality. A new date for the march had only just been publicised after the initial march, scheduled to take place in August, was postponed due to the current situation in the region. The revised date for the parade has been set for 21st September and was agreed now that the city's security was considered safe enough for the protest to go ahead.
Firefighters disciplined over march
Nine firefighters who refused to hand out safety leaflets at a gay pride march have been disciplined by their bosses. The group have faced a series of disciplinary hearings since disobeying orders at the Pride Scotia parade in June. After several days of deliberation, fire chiefs at Strathclyde Fire and Rescue (SFR) announced the nine officers would be made to undergo an intensive course of "diversity training" as a result of the incident. .
School kids appear in homosexual parade
Elementary-age students have marched in a homosexual pride event under the banner of a San Diego public school, amidst triple-X rated behavior by "gay" activists, according to a Christian blogger who reports daily to 7,000 people. James Hartline, who issues "Action Alerts" in response to situations in the city, said he was shocked by the "immoral" actions. "In one of the most appalling displays of gross disregard for the safety of young children, the San Diego City School system allowed a number of small children to march inside of the San Diego Gay Pride parade under the banner of one of its schools," he said. That, despite the fact, "that these children were brought into the midst of a number of businesses promoting pornography and nearly nude men and women in graphic sexualized demonstrations." Hartline told WorldNetDaily that he lived as a homosexual for many years, but left that lifestyle choice after becoming a Christian seven years ago.
